2026 Scholarship Fundraiser
The AND Foundation presents a signature fundraiser to support our student scholarship program — helping young leaders pursue their dreams in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
Our 2026 event will bring together community members, educators, and advocates for an inspiring evening of connection, celebration, and purpose. Attendees will enjoy a vibrant atmosphere while learning more about our mission to provide students with creative and academic pathways that serve as alternatives to gun violence.
Proceeds directly support high school students through scholarships, enrichment opportunities, and expanded access to STEAM education.

2025 Virtual Walkathon
Join us for the AND Foundation’s Virtual Walkathon — a movement for education, expression, and community safety. This event brings together supporters from across the country to walk, run, or move in honor of our mission: promoting STEAM education, supporting youth creativity, and providing alternatives to gun violence.
Walk from anywhere, at any time during our campaign window and help us raise funds for student scholarships and STEAM programming. Whether you’re clocking miles on a treadmill, strolling through your neighborhood, or gathering a group for a local walk, every step you take supports a brighter, safer future for youth in Chicagoland and beyond.

Back to School Drive at Southside YMCA
The AND Foundation is excited to host a Backpack Giveaway at the Southside YMCA, supporting high school students across the Chicagoland area as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
This free community event is open to local teens and their families, with a focus on providing high school students with backpacks filled with essential supplies to help them start the year strong. We’ll also offer light refreshments, music, and access to helpful resources that promote academic success and personal growth.

Back to School Bash at William H. Brown Elementary
The AND Foundation is proud to partner with Soul City Church to host this year’s Back to School Bash in support of William H. Brown Elementary School.
This private event is exclusively for the students and families of William H. Brown Elementary. Together, we’re celebrating the new school year with free backpacks filled with essential supplies, music, games, food, and community resources.
It’s a day of joy, encouragement, and support—ensuring every student starts the school year feeling confident and cared for.
