Alisia’s Story
In remembrance of the tragic events that transpired on October 2, 2016, our foundation was born out of the profound loss of two promising lives—Alisia Nicole Dieudonne and Ahmad Campbell. The devastating incident occurred at an off-campus party in Greensboro, NC, where uninvited guests escalated a situation into an act of senseless gun violence.
Alisia, an alumna of Homewood-Flossmoor High School Class Of 2015, pursued her passion for Computer Science at North Carolina A&T University. She was a vibrant soul with an unwavering love for computer science, dancing, and an unmatched flair for fashion. The void left by Alisia and Ahmad's untimely departure has forever altered the lives of their families and friends.
Through the pain and loss, our foundation emerges as a tribute to the enduring spirits of Alisia and Ahmad, aiming to transform tragedy into a catalyst for change and advocacy against gun violence. This is our commitment, and this is their legacy.
